EliGE wins EPL Season 9 Finals MVP award
Liquid talent Jonathan "EliGE" Jablonowski is the winner of the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award of the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals by HLTV.org and betway.
The 21-year-old capped off a fantastic tournament with a team-leading 1.23 rating in the four-map thriller against G2, putting in 1.20+ ratings on all three maps won by Liquid against the French side.
With his grand final performance, EliGE ended the tournament with a 1.29 rating, the highest overall, beating off competition from Kenny "kennyS" Schrub, the only other real candidate for the prize.

Besides leading the tournament's rating charts, EliGE was joint-top for total kills (395) and had the highest assists (83) and opening frags (70). He was also in the top five in nine stats categories, most notably ADR (88.8), kills per round (0.82), percentage of rounds with at least one kill (53.5%) and opening kills per round (0.15).
This is the second MVP medal won by EliGE, who had previously scooped the honour at DreamHack Masters Dallas, at the beginning of the month. He has averaged a stunning 1.21 rating at Big Events since the start of the year, the highest in Liquid, with his closest teammate being Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken at 1.16.
